CareerSearch
CareerSearch is a powerful online employment research tool with a database of more than 2 million employers from every major sector of the business and academic worlds. You can customize extensive lists of companies based on industry, size, geographic location, and keyword. Users must create their own login at the registration screen. In order to complete registration, you will be asked for a client referral code - please email library@simmons.edu to obtain this code (for Simmons students and alumni).

Simmons College Business Databases
Simmons subscribes to many databases that are valuable for researching companies, including Standard & Poor's Industry Surveys and Business Source Premier Industry Profiles. Scroll down to Company Information and Industry Information on the library's Business and Management Resources page. Databases can be used on campus by students and alumni. Remote access is limited to student use. Check your local public library for possible remote access to these or similar business databases.

Vault
The Vault Online Career Library includes 80+ downloadable career guidebooks; thousands of profiles with insider information about companies, occupations, salaries, and industries; articles on dozens of career and job search topics; internship information and listings; and the "Electronic Watercooler" -- a message board for discussing career-related issues.
